Maintenance Electrician (CSC)

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician at our Chesterfield Special Cylinders site.
Working within the maintenance team, this role will be responsible for the daily maintenance within the factory, the main focus will be prevention of production downtime and reacting to any breakdowns.
Job duties, responsibilities and accountabilities:
- To provide training, support and guidance to the Electrical Maintenance apprentice
- Provide electrical competency on plant, machinery and site facility, covering all aspects of maintenance
- Plan and undertake scheduled electrical maintenance, ensuring optimal operation of machinery and mechanical equipment with minimal downtime
- Conduct routine maintenance and testing on electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring
- Assess the parts needed and raise requisition requests for ordering of parts
- Rewire faulty electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and alarms
- Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes, and follows safety requirements
